| On the 23 November 2010, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Court of St James's, Her Excellency Ms Barbara Tuge Ereconska, officially opened the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in the Channel Islands. Her Excellency presented the Honorary Consul Wanda Adam with her nomination which was signed by the Minister of ForeignaAffairs, Radosława Sikorskiego. |
The opening of the Consulate was attended by His Excellency the Lieutenant General Andrew Ridgway, CB, CBE Lieutenant-Governor of Jersey (second from left), the Bailiff of Jersey – J. E. Michael Birt (second from the right)
The openeing ceremony was also attended by Senator Philip Ozouf and Senator Freddie Cohen, David Warcup, the Chief of Police in Jersey, Consul General of the Republic of Poland to the Court of St James's Mr Dariusz Adler and the second secretary Justyna Januszewska as well as a number of honorary consuls that are based in the Channel Islands.
